Children's Practice Development SSW - CIC Team - Slough
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Practice Development SSW to join our CIC Team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and young people's needs
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Providing direct support to children in care, including emotional support and advocacy
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care and making necessary adjustments to their care plans
- Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services
- Registered with Social Work England
- Strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
