We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adoption Practice Manager to join our dynamic team in Northamptonshire. This vital role involves overseeing the adoption services within our organization, ensuring that best practices are implemented to support children and families throughout the adoption process. You will lead a team of qualified social workers, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing and supervising the adoption team to ensure effective case management and service delivery. Developing and implementing policies and procedures that comply with legislation and best practice standards. Conducting assessments, reviews, and training for adoptive families, ensuring their needs are met. Collaborating with local authorities, stakeholders, and external agencies to promote adoption services. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the adoption service, providing reports and recommendations to senior management.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in adoption services or child protection. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
