Are you an experienced social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families? The Coventry City Council is seeking an Advanced Practitioner for our Help & Protection team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team that is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work practice and leadership within the Help & Protection team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing complex cases and developing effective intervention plans. Providing supervision and support to less experienced social workers. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Contributing to the development and implementation of best practice standards. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with legislative requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, MA Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. A minimum of 3 years' post-qualifying experience in a relevant social work setting. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding policies.
