Are you an experienced social work professional looking to make a significant impact in your community? Rotherham is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Locality team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality social work services, supporting vulnerable individuals and families while driving best practices within the team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing expert supervision and support to less experienced social workers, ensuring high standards of practice. Conducting complex assessments and developing tailored intervention plans to meet the diverse needs of service users. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to enhance service delivery and promote the welfare of children and families. Leading case reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of social work processes and policies. Staying updated on legislation and best practices in social work to inform your practice and guide your team.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in social work, particularly in child protection or family support. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
