Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a qualified Deputy Team Manager to join our Safeguarding Team within the BANES area. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team committed to making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. As a Deputy Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of those we serve while supporting and developing your team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Assisting the Team Manager in the overall management of the Safeguarding Team. Providing supervision and support to social workers, ensuring high standards of practice. Overseeing case management and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Engaging with families and external agencies to promote effective safeguarding interventions. Contributing to the development and implementation of team policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualifying experience in children's social care, particularly in safeguarding. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
