Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual family situations. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to facilitate positive change. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including education, health, and law enforcement, to promote child welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
