Join our dedicated team at Bedford - TM - CWD as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting children and families in need. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions that promote the well-being of children and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our clients while adhering to statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of the needs of children and families. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with organizational policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England (or relevant regulatory body). Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
