Join our dedicated Work to First Hearing Team at CAFCASS in Birmingham, where we are seeking a passionate Qualified Social Worker to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. This flexible position allows for 1-2 days in the office monthly, providing you with the opportunity to balance your professional and personal life while contributing to essential social work practices.
As a Qualified Social Worker in our team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments and preparing reports for court hearings. Engaging with children, families, and other professionals to gather vital information. Providing support and guidance to families during the legal process. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and family support. Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
