We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Child in Care team in Birmingham. As a member of this vital team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in challenging situations.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs and risks of children in care, and developing and implementing care plans Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health and education professionals, to ensure holistic support for children Conducting regular visits and reviews to monitor the progress and well-being of children in care Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence as required Supporting children in care to achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Previous experience working in a Child in Care team Strong assessment and report writing skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
