Join our dedicated Family Help/Children in Need Team in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in improving the lives of vulnerable children and families. In this rewarding position, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify strengths and areas for support. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and relevant agencies. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and family support work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
