Join Bracknell Forest as a Social Worker in our Child Protection Locality Team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
