Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity in Bradford? We are seeking a Senior Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding children and supporting families within our community, ensuring their welfare and best interests are prioritized.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to address identified needs. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure cohesive support for families. Providing supervision and guidance to junior staff and social work students. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with local policies. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and assessment work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
