We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a CAFCASS/Family Court Adviser covering South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, and Banes in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to family courts to help them make informed decisions about the welfare of children.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking safeguarding checks and assessments to ensure the well-being of children involved in family court cases. Conducting interviews with children and families to gather essential information for court proceedings. Preparing high-quality reports and recommendations for the court based on your assessments and findings. Attending court hearings to provide evidence and support the decision-making process. Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers and legal representatives, to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in child protection and family court proceedings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families. Strong analytical and report-writing skills to present complex information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload while maintaining high standards of practice.
