In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with the legal system to ensure the welfare of children and support families during court proceedings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to inform court decisions. Preparing and presenting reports for court hearings, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Working closely with legal professionals, children, and families to facilitate effective communication and support. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. Participating in multi-agency meetings to promote positive outcomes for children and families.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working within a court team or in child protection settings. Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
