Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a skilled QSW for our Help & Protection team based in Amersham. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families, multi-agency partners, and community organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of children and families. Working closely with families to promote positive change and ensure the best outcomes for children. Managing a caseload effectively while adhering to statutory requirements and local policies. Engaging with partner agencies to coordinate support services and interventions. Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members and students.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
