Are you a dedicated Qualified Social Worker with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children in care? Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team in Aylesbury. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment, where you can contribute to the well-being and development of vulnerable children and young people.

As a Qualified Social Worker - Children in Care, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans that meet the individual needs of children and families. Building positive relationships with children, their families, and other professionals to promote effective collaboration. Managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring that their best interests are at the forefront of all decisions. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children in care or within child protection settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
