Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Bury as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a significant impact in the lives of families and children. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and colleagues.
