Join our dedicated team as a CAFCASS/Family Court Adviser in Bournemouth, where you will play a crucial role in supporting children and families involved in public and private law proceedings. Your expertise will help ensure that the voices of children are heard and considered in family court decisions, contributing to their safety and well-being. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families involved in legal proceedings. Preparing detailed reports for the Family Court, presenting findings and recommendations. Providing expert advice and support to the court, social services, and other stakeholders. Facilitating meetings and mediations between families to encourage positive resolutions. Maintaining accurate records and adhering to safeguarding procedures.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in family law, child protection, or related fields. Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
