Join the dynamic MAST Team in Calderdale as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a significant impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable individuals, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with multi-agency partners to provide comprehensive support.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual circumstances. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their needs are met. Collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to coordinate services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local authority policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
