Join our dedicated team in Cardiff as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Support for Families. In this role, you will work closely with families facing challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and interventions to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of families and developing tailored support plans. Building strong relationships with families, fostering trust and open communication. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive support. Providing ongoing support and monitoring progress, adjusting interventions as necessary. Keeping accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Proven experience in social work, particularly in family support or child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families and professionals.
