Cheshire East is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Integrated Front Door (MASH) Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families within our community. As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals by effectively managing referrals and assessments.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and families. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans. Providing advice, support, and guidance to families and stakeholders. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
