Cheshire West is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children with Disabilities team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children with disabilities and their families. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to ensure the best outcomes for children in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support, guidance, and advocacy for children and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
