Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Family Help Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact within the community, working with families to support their needs and promote their well-being. The ideal candidate will be committed to safeguarding children and enhancing family dynamics through effective interventions and support strategies.
As a Social Worker in the Family Help Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to coordinate support services. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and family support services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families.
