As the Children & Families Team Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership and direction to a team of qualified social workers, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines. Managing complex casework and providing supervision to ensure effective interventions and outcomes for children and families. Developing and maintaining effective partnerships with other agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to deliver integrated services. Contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote the welfare of children and families.The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have extensive experience in child protection and family support, along with proven leadership skills. Essential qualifications and skills include:
Demonstrable experience in managing a team within a social work setting. Strong knowledge of child safeguarding legislation and frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
