We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Bradford, specializing in supporting children with disabilities. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to make a profound impact in the lives of children and their families. As a QSW, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children with disabilities, advocating for their needs and rights within the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working closely with children, families, and professionals to implement interventions that promote the well-being and development of children with disabilities. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Providing advice and support to families, helping them navigate available services and resources. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of integrated care plans.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with children and families.
