Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children with disabilities? Nottinghamshire is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting children and their families to overcome challenges and thrive in their communities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with various agencies, ensuring that children receive the best possible care and support tailored to their individual needs.

As a Children with Disabilities Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families, developing tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and healthcare professionals to implement effective interventions. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate available resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local policies and legislation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning for services for children with disabilities.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
