We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored support plans for children in need. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the welfare and safety of vulnerable children and their families.
As a key member of the Child and Family Assessments Team, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify strengths, needs, and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and legislation. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access appropriate services. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities to enhance practice.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in working with children and families, preferably within a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
