We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Assessment and Placement (AP - CIN/CP) Team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in need of support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to help them achieve positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection.
