As a Children’s AP, your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting social workers in conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in need. Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, and other professionals. Providing direct support to children and young people, helping them to access services and opportunities. Contributing to multi-agency meetings and case reviews to advocate for the best interests of children. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
