We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Assessment and Planning - Child Social Work (AP - CSW) Team in Leeds. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community. Your expertise will help ensure that children receive the support they need to thrive, while also working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks, ensuring the timely identification of issues affecting their welfare. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, facilitating access to resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Participating in team meetings and supervision, contributing to service improvement and best practice initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification, along with current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusting relationships with children and families. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
