As a member of our Children’s AP - LAC Team, you will be responsible for:

Conducting assessments and creating comprehensive care plans for children in the looked after system. Working closely with families, children, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children and family social work, particularly with looked after children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
