Join our dedicated Children's AP - MACH Team in Middlesbrough, where your passion for social work can make a real difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Social Worker to provide critical support and intervention services, ensuring the welfare and protection of children within our community. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to create tailored care plans and promote positive outcomes for those in need.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing comprehensive care plans for children and families. Engaging with children and families to build trusting relationships and facilitate effective communication. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and ensure the implementation of care plans. Monitoring and reviewing cases, providing updates and reports to management and external stakeholders. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
