We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children’s Assistant Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with social workers and other professionals to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting social workers in assessing and managing cases involving children at risk. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to gather information and provide support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to contribute to safeguarding plans and interventions. Providing direct support to children and families, including facilitating access to services and resources.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant degree in Social Work or a related field. Experience working with children and families in a social care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
