We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Assessment and Planning (AP) - Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP) Team in Middlesbrough. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Your expertise will contribute to effective assessments, planning, and interventions that promote positive outcomes for children and their families.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies. Providing support and guidance to families to empower them in making positive changes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.
