We are seeking an experienced Children's ASW (Assessment Social Worker) to provide high-quality assessments and interventions, ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable children.
As a Children's ASW, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and screening of referrals to determine the level of need and risk. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop comprehensive plans that prioritize the welfare of children. Engaging with families and children to gather information, provide support, and facilitate access to services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and statutory requirements. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Previous experience working within children's services, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
