Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Wrexham's Children's ATM - Fostering Team is seeking a dedicated and qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in foster care, working closely with families, foster carers, and other professionals to create a nurturing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the best interests of children. Providing support and guidance to foster families, ensuring they have the resources necessary to succeed. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to facilitate effective communication and service delivery. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legislative requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Care Wales or equivalent body. Proven experience in child protection and fostering. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
