We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Contextual Safeguarding Advisor to join our CP Team in Ealing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people within the community, focusing on contextual safeguarding approaches.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Assessing and analyzing risks to children within their wider social contexts Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans that address contextual risks Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide holistic support Participating in case conferences and reviews to contribute to safeguarding decision-making Providing training and guidance to colleagues on contextual safeguarding principlesThe essential qualifications and skills for this role are:
Qualified Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a safeguarding context Strong understanding of contextual safeguarding principles and their application Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective partnership working Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary teamAdditional requirements for this position may include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the community.
