Join our dedicated Children's DTM - CIN/CP/Safeguarding Team in Bath & North East Somerset, where your expertise in social work will make a significant impact on the lives of children and families. We are looking for a qualified social worker who is passionate about safeguarding and committed to promoting the welfare of vulnerable children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children in need of protection and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and reviews. Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local policies and statutory requirements.To succeed in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (degree or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
