Join our dynamic team as a Children's DTM (Designated Team Manager) in the Contact Team based in Southwark, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work team, you will lead a dedicated group of social workers, ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions that meet the diverse needs of our community.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the management of referrals and assessments to ensure timely and effective responses. Providing supervision and support to social workers, fostering their professional development and ensuring best practices. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop integrated care plans for children and families. Conducting regular team meetings and case reviews to maintain high standards of service delivery. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and local policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in children's social work, including management or supervisory roles. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
