We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's DTM - First Response Team member to join our dynamic team in Harrow. As a vital part of our Qualified Social Work field, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our community. Your expertise will be instrumental in responding to urgent situations, conducting assessments, and implementing effective interventions to support children and families in crisis.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting initial assessments and investigations in response to referrals regarding children at risk. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored support plans. Providing crisis intervention and support to children and families in distress. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of cases, ensuring compliance with local and national legislation. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases and improve service delivery.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
