We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's DTM - MASH Team Social Worker to join our team in Wigan. As part of this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases involving children at risk of harm, ensuring their safety and well-being are the top priorities.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare of children Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a holistic approach to safeguarding Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to review and progress casesThe ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Proven experience working within a Children's DTM or MASH Team setting Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholdersIn addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in child protection, court work, and risk assessment will be highly regarded.
