We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's FCA (Family Court Adviser) to join our team at Cafcass. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work field, you will play a crucial role in advocating for the best interests of children involved in family court proceedings.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's circumstances and needs. Providing expert advice and recommendations to the family court to ensure the welfare and safety of children. Building strong relationships with children, families, and professionals involved in the case. Preparing high-quality reports for court hearings that accurately reflect the child's wishes and feelings. Attending court hearings and representing the child's best interests effectively.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in child protection and family court processes. Registration with Social Work England. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong analytical and report writing skills.
