We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Lead Practitioner to join our Child Protection (CP) Team in Enfield. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families in need. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding vulnerable children, promoting their welfare, and supporting families to achieve positive outcomes.
As a Children's Lead Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance. Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans to address the needs of children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Monitoring and evaluating case progress, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. Providing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in child protection. Strong leadership and management abilities, with a track record of effective team performance.
