Join our dedicated FH & Safeguarding Team in Wokingham as a Children’s Personal Advisor! We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to support children and families in navigating complex social care systems. As a Children’s Personal Advisor, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their best interests.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing advice, guidance, and support to children and their families on available resources and services. Monitoring and reviewing progress to ensure the effectiveness of interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and case developments.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in safeguarding contexts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
