Are you passionate about safeguarding children and making a meaningful impact in their lives? We are seeking a dedicated Children's Protection Advisor to join our dynamic team in Aylesbury. This position offers an exciting opportunity for qualified social workers to provide critical support and guidance in protecting vulnerable children and families within our community.
As a Children's Protection Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Providing expert advice and support to social work staff and other professionals regarding child protection matters. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge in child protection practices.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
