Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Walsall as a Qualified Social Worker, specializing in Children and Families (C&F). In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to families in need, ensuring that children's welfare is prioritized at all times.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to promote the well-being of children.To succeed in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
