Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work team at Walsall, where your expertise can make a real difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to support our Children’s SP - CIC Team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans. Conducting regular reviews and evaluations of children's progress and well-being. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
