Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Child Protection Team in Walsall as a Qualified Social Worker. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing and evaluating the needs of children and families through comprehensive assessments. Developing and implementing care plans that ensure the best outcomes for children. Conducting home visits and liaising with families to provide support and guidance. Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to promote the welfare of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this position, you must meet the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working in children's social services, particularly in child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
