Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work Team in Staffordshire as a Qualified Social Worker, specializing in Children with Disabilities (CWD). You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to promote the welfare and development of children with disabilities, making a meaningful impact in their lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children with disabilities and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
