We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SP - D & A Team in Shropshire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the safeguarding and well-being of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews of children's needs. Working collaboratively with families, children, and external agencies to create effective support plans. Monitoring and evaluating the progress of children and families, adjusting plans as necessary. Providing advice and support to foster carers and adoptive families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
